During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve heard many complaints of back pain from impromptu workstations at home. The chair-situation, one major component of a workstation, can be improved with the dynamics with a physio ball.
A physio ball (great exercise tool, BTW) can add some movement, muscle contraction, and spinal pressure change to an otherwise static position. When you sit on the ball, you can move a little in every direction. Any of this is better for joints and blood flow than static sitting. Realize though, even the best workstation is bad if you’re at it too long.
