My name is Amin Nekoomand.  I was born in a Persian family and raised in Coralville, Iowa.  I graduated from Iowa City West High School and then attended The University of Iowa for the next four years until 2004.  It was during my time at University of Iowa that I discovered Chiropractic and about the profession through my college counselor and one of my co-workers at the research department.  I had never been to a chiropractor and didn’t know much about the profession until then.  I started learning more about chiropractic as I researched the profession and shadowed few doctors, and I loved it.  As a kid, I grew up to watch my own mother suffer from low back pain and how nothing had ever helped her until I introduced her to chiropractic.

I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008, where I earned awards such as: Clinical Teaching Assistant Award, Diagnosis Service Award, and a member of the Dean's List and Student Council awards.

I am very happy and proud to be part of My Chiro team, and as always I am here to serve you!
